Built around your department

Real department or lore, we build it around yours.

Everything on this page is shown as Los Santos Police Department, modelled on how the LAPD actually works. Your server gets the same systems in your department's words: its name and badge, ranks, units and callsigns, radio codes, charges, report forms and talkgroups. Our development team does the conversion with you.

Your terminology, done by our developers

No config files to wrestle with. Tell us how your department talks and we set the suite up that way, then keep it that way through every update.

  2. We convert itRanks, divisions, callsigns, codes, penal and vehicle codes, report forms, radio talkgroups, branding.
  3. You test itOn a staging server with your own staff, before anything goes live.

Los Santos Police Department

City police · modelled on the LAPD

Ranks and units

Police Officer I to Chief, Deputy to Sheriff, Firefighter to Chief, or your own ladder, with permissions per rank.

Codes and callsigns

1-Adam-12, Code 3, 11-99, Engine 27, Watch 3, A-shift: your radio language everywhere.

Law and paperwork

California Penal and Vehicle Codes by default, or your state's. Reports, booking and court in your forms.

Brand and lore

Your department's badge, colours and city in every app, from the tablet to the radio's boot screen.

One call, start to finish

A 211 robbery, from the 911 call to the sentence

Every app writes to the same records. Follow one call through the suite.

Step 1 of 8

    ONE ControlBuilt

A 911 dispatch center that runs in a browser

Call-takers and dispatchers run the city from a web page, in game or not. Everything they do reaches the radios, MDCs and tablets in game. Dispatchers only need a browser and a headset.

ONE live map with LSPD, EMS and LSFD units on the postal map
Live previewSample data. Nothing is saved.
    • Command board with incidents, units, CAD logs and live status per department
    • Postal street map: 226 named streets and 1,687 postals; a pin fills street, cross street and postal
    • Radio console: monitor talkgroups and talk to units from the browser
    • AI Dispatch prioritises calls and sends the nearest suitable unit when nobody's on a console
    • Pager for SWAT, Air Support, K-9, tactical EMS and on-call detectives
    • Reports: EMS ePCR, NERIS fire reports, traffic collisions and use of force, with review
    • Careers: internal postings and applications that unlock callsigns
    • Desk layouts across two or three monitors
    AI DispatchBuilt

Nobody on a console? Dispatch still answers.

When no dispatcher is logged in, ONE takes the calls, sends the right units and talks to them on the radio as LSPD, EMS or LSFD Dispatch. It hands back the moment someone signs on.

    • Sends the right unit first: SWAT to armed calls, traffic units to pursuits, paramedics and tactical EMS to the worst calls
    • Talks on the talkgroup in American voices, and listens: "show me Code 6" or "run plate 7ABC123" just works
    • Logs a call for you when a unit says "I've found a stolen car, can you log it?"
    • Every decision on the log, under the dispatch center's own name

Your browser reads it here. On the radio it's ONE's own American voice with a radio filter.

    ONE CommsBuilt

A trunked radio that behaves like one

This is the real radio screen from the game, set up as a P25-style trunked system for LSPD. Press the keys, hold the side button to talk, change talkgroup with the knob.

    • Trunked talkgroups: one voice at a time; emergencies break through
    • Background audio: sirens, gunshots, rotors and wind behind every transmission
    • Coverage from tower sites; tunnels cut it, talkaround works anywhere
    • Four handhelds on foot and a mobile radio in every emergency vehicle
    • Book on from the radio: callsign, partner, vehicle and skills go to the CAD
    • Second radio, scan list, covert kit and a radio fitted to your own uniform
    BEACONS

    BEACONS: supervisors run the network

A tablet app for sergeants, watch commanders and battalion chiefs. Each department sees its own units and runs its own radio network.

    • Console: monitor 8 talkgroups, talk on any
    • All-call, status sweeps and welfare checks
    • Tactical alerts in one tap, with a decision log
    • Replay the last hour: movement, airtime, events
    ONE Records · NEXUSBuilt

Records that go all the way to court

One master record per person, vehicle and place, linked to everything: the way the records systems used by hundreds of real US departments work, now in GTA. Open a wanted person and follow the links.

    • Import from the CAD: a call fills the crime report as suggestions
    • Crime map and patterns, intelligence, evidence and property, and an officer notebook

    Body-worn video

A camera on every uniform that starts itself when a Taser is drawn, lights and siren go on or the emergency button is pressed, with a 30-second pre-event buffer.

    Fire and EMS

A fire service that fights back

LSFD runs on the same platform as everything above: the same CAD, radio and records, plus a fire engine and apps built for the job. Fire behaves like fire, so the job is skilled. The first two apps are built and in testing; the rest are designed and on the build plan.

    EMBERBuilt · in testing

    The fire itself

    • Fire simulated on the server as cells of fuel, heat and oxygen, so big fires never hit GTA's flame limit and everyone sees the same fire
    • Classes A, B, C, D and K: water on a grease fire is a fireball, live electrics shock until de-energised, gas relights until it's shut off, EV batteries go into runaway
    • Flashover and backdraft: rooms grow, and opening the wrong door on a starved room is dangerous unless you cool the gases first
    • Knocked down isn't out: hidden heat brings fires back unless you overhaul
    • Pump panel, booster line, 1¾" and 2½" handlines, hydrants and the tank running dry
    • SCBA with a low-air alarm and a PASS device others can hear
    • Fire alarms and sprinklers in buildings call ONE; most are false
    • Station tones, bay lights and the rip-and-run printout, with the dispatcher's voice on the station speakers
    • Arson leaves a hidden ignition record for investigators to work out
    BRIGADEBuilt · in testing

    The fire department

    • LSFD ranks from Firefighter I to Fire Chief, wired into the Qbox fire job with pay by rank
    • A, B and C platoons on 24-hour shifts, with day staff for chiefs and fire prevention
    • Stations, apparatus and riding positions: Captain, Engineer and firefighters on the engine; Captain, Apparatus Operator and crew on the truck
    • Book on in a seat and you ride as E27 on the radio and in ONE; chiefs keep their own callsigns
    • Out of service with a reason: Dispatch won't send it and nobody can ride it
    • Station fit-out for custom maps: speakers, bay lights and printers placed in game
    • Shift chat, bulletin board, command chart and personnel files

      The fire feature catalogue

      Fifty features, built in order

      SCENE Fire Investigation

EMBER records the true origin and cause of every fire, then leaves physical clues. Investigators have to work it out from the evidence, following NFPA 921; the answer is never handed to them. It all goes into the same SCENE case as the police.

      • V-patterns pointing back to the area of origin, and depth of char
      • Pour patterns that still need testing, because falling debris leaves the same marks
      • Multiple points of origin and trailers that point to arson
      • The ignition source left at the origin: grease, cigarette, candle, heater, e-bike battery, Molotov glass
      • Alarms, glass, doors and contents that suggest insurance fraud

      In the lab

      • Fire debris analysis by GC-MS to ASTM E1618, from sealed debris cans
      • Accelerant comparison against the suspect's gas can: supporting evidence, not proof
      • Suspect clothing swabs and the accelerant detection canine
      • Prints and DNA from the can, bottle or lighter
      • Wiring and arc beads, battery and appliance failure: the accidental causes a defense will raise
      • Purchases, CCTV and money: who bought gas, who was nearby, who needed the insurance

The investigator records the cause as accidental, incendiary or undetermined. Arson goes to NEXUS as a crime, with the investigator's report for the DA.

      EMS on the same platform

Rescue ambulances run in ONE with ePCR reports and hospital handoff, tactical EMS is on the pager, paramedic certifications live in ACADEMY and EMS has its own talkgroups. EMS's own app follows fire.

CITIZENS and VOICES: everyone in Los Santos is somebody

      1. Every NPC gets an identity: name, date of birth, address, ID, DNA, prints and what's in their pockets.
      2. Stop one and ask. They answer out loud in American voices built on Piper.
      3. Run them in CLETS. Their record lives in NEXUS, so a wanted NPC really is wanted.
